Biography
Sayraphim Lothian is an artist of all trades who holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in photography and Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours in photography. Her artworks have been exhibited in Melbourne, Bendigo and regional Victoria, Canberra and Wisconsin USA. Her sculptural abilities are often utilised in prop and puppetry construction for various theatre shows and during these projects she has discovered an innate ability to build dead things convincingly.

In recent years, she was the designer for the International Puppet Festival at Federation Square and was a fabricator and refurb tech for the Jim Henson Creature Workshop puppets in Spike Jonze's film Where The Wild Things Are.

Between 2002-2006, Sayraphim was also a Lieutenant with theatre in decay. This involved much research and a whole lot of curiosity. She worked on every show bar two in those four years in many and varied roles including set and props design and construction, costume, backstage tech, publicity assistant, photographer, stage manager, usher and anything else that need might someone to do it.

She currently runs Omnific Assembly which is an artistic company through which she organises themed group exhbitions around Melbourne.

As a graphic designer and coder, she has produced design and web work for theatre in decay, Impresaria, Dancing with Strangers and various companies and corporations around Australia as well as for numerous exhibitions she was involved in. She built the front and back ends for her website www.sayraphimlothian.com, as well as www.theatreindecay.com and www.omnificassembly.com and built the back end of www.lindacatalano.com for Linda Catalano's 2002 show Claws Out!

Sayraphim has been published in a book and in magazines both here and in England and her writing has featured in theatre in decay's Bathory and in The Bittersweet Birdbath's Tick....
